There was a lot of negativity at Hillsborough over the summer with the sudden departure of Stuart Gray whom did a great job on a small-ish budget, but left with some dour performances as well the 1-2 defeat to Leeds at home springs to mind. Further added to the price of tickets as well, which were hiked up to pay for the new pitch, new scoreboard and extensive player recruitment. We also then hired an unheard manager to take us forward, and completely overhauled our playing style. Risky stuff!What has happened since is positive though. We seemed to have bought well, managed to get some real gems, and up and coming future stars to build on our strengths from the last campaign. We have beaten two premier league teams, and not conceded in those games. We have been strong and resilient as well and are just shy of the playoffs also.I Larry Nance Jr. Jersey feel that Carlos has done a good job up to now results wise, but he has impre sed me with his off the field demeanor. He has played down all they hype that comes with winning a few games, and instantly everyone expecting automatic promotion. He conducts himself very well in his interviews. He is well spoken and knows what he wants tactically and he came highly recommended too.We are a work in progre s, and i believe that a top ten finish will be a good season. But there is no doubt we can achieve better than that, but a gradual building proce s needs to be the way I feel. We need to keep hold of our better players who are currently in the lime light; Westwood, Lees and Joao.
